My Healing Cycles Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the My Healing Cycles app ("the app") handles, where it is kept, and the choices you have. The app is published by Didymus Digital Services Limited ("we", "us", "our").
1. Who we are
My Healing Cycles is published by Didymus Digital Services Limited. You can contact us about privacy at myhealingcycles@outlook.com.
2. Information you enter
You can choose to record information in the app, such as:
- period start and end dates
- symptoms, mood and energy levels
- personal notes
- reminder settings
Some of this is health information. You decide what to enter, and the app works even if you leave fields empty.
3. Where your information is stored
Your entries are saved only in the app's storage on your device. The app does not send them to us or to any server we control. We don't need an account, a name, an email address or a phone number for you to use the app.
If you have Android device backup turned on, Android may include app data in your personal Google account backup. That backup is managed by Google under your device settings and is not accessible to us.
4. How the information is used
The app uses your entries on your device to show your history, estimate your next cycle and send the reminders you set up. Nothing else is done with it.
5. Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone. The app does not show ads and does not use third-party advertising or analytics services.
6. Permissions
The app may ask for permission to send notifications so it can deliver your reminders. You can turn this off at any time in your phone's settings. The app does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone or files.
7. Security
Because your information stays on your phone, keeping your device protected matters. We recommend using a screen lock such as a PIN, pattern or fingerprint.
8. Keeping and deleting your information
Your entries stay on your phone until you delete them. You can remove them at any time from inside the app, by clearing the app's storage, or by uninstalling the app. See how to delete your data for step-by-step instructions.
If you email us for support, we keep your message only as long as needed to help you, and you can ask us to delete it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, data protection laws such as the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the EU and UK GDPR give you rights over your personal information, including the right to access, correct or delete it. Since we don't hold the information you enter in the app, you control it directly on your device. For anything else, contact us and we'll respond within 30 days.
10. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
11. Health disclaimer
My Healing Cycles is a wellness tool. It is not a medical device, it does not give medical advice, and it should not be used as contraception or to diagnose any condition. Please speak with a qualified health professional about any health concerns.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles information, we'll update this page and the effective date above. Significant changes will also be shown in the app.
